Xango expands to Taiwan, strong international growth continues

After
the incredible success and downright awesomeness of the XanGo Invasion,
I wanted to take a second to thank each of you for your sustained
dedication and excitement in building your XanGo organizations. As a
direct result of your efforts, we are seeing growth around the globe
that outpaces even our most ambitious targets.



The international momentum of XanGo is real and tangible. We see it everywhere:


· At
a post-Convention lunch near our corporate headquarters, I had an
amazing experience with a group of the many Aussie and Kiwi leaders who
made the journey to experience the XanGo Invasion. The pioneering
strength and energy that flowed from that table was absolutely off the
charts.


· A strong and focused start in Taiwan leads us toward unmatched growth across Asia.


· The 1K at a Time promotion reached its tipping point in Germany with more than 250 1Ks breaking in September alone.


· Malaysia,
a market that opened just this year, was represented in Salt Lake City
by its first 100K Premier (already!) and continues to show numbers that
are seriously stratospheric.


· Our
Japanese distributor leaders once again brought a strong contingent
across the Pacific and made their presence felt in strong breakout
presentations and with two Double Up winners.


· While
joining a handful of pre-Convention events and meetings in Canada and
México, I was greeted by crowds that packed every room and spilled out
the doors and down the hallway.


· All across Europe, leaders have sustained their growth and paved the way for potential and possibility in a number of new areas.


And
what I find most impressive is that XanGo continues on this remarkable
path by sharing a simple message: It’s safe to dream again.

thank you for everything you do. Thank you for your kind wishes and
uplifting thoughts as I recover from my recent dirt-bike accident. Your

Xango - compensation plan & Your success in the MLM business

Often my friends and new distributors ask "how's the compensation plan?" and "can I make money from the Xango business?"

This article is to share my thoughts on this.

Compensation is tied up with several other factors beside "the comp plan" (details here) and the figures and payment of commissions in the agreement.

For Xango, these factors are:

1) Streamline sponsoring. Others call it "stacking" or "satay", meaning sponsoring one under the other. This helps create volume, and its easy, to go up to the basic level of 1K. And that's the building block. You can become 1 k, then you can duplicate it. AND with streamline sponsoring everybody in the upline is helping. Its incredible. More details here.

2) the strong branding, strong web presence, strong supporting sales materials
Reason: Easy to share the message. And the quality branding and broshures tell of the quality
3) the sterling company track record. Being the 4th largest health supplement company in the USA domestic market.
Reason: Success breeds success. People want to join a successful outfit. It gives credibility to the new distributors. They have found a successful company to associate with, and are proud to share it with their friends
4) the single product
Reason: Its easy to share- easy for new distributors to learn about. Hence easy to duplicate. Imagine the opposite - where there are dozens of product with different prices, names, uniqueness etc
5) Its a juice - its acceptable
Reason - easy to "sell"- people accept it easier than if you were selling capsules or tablets. There's less resistance to taking home a bottle of juice that's got health benefit.
6) Wonderful taste
Reason: children love it. That makes it easy for them to consume. No fuss for mom. bottom line - the product moves among mothers sharing with other mothers.

So succeeding and making money in Xango is simpler than other MLM/ home based opporunity companies for those reasons above.

New Mangosteen Research Establishes Xanthone Measurement Standard, Points to Whole Fruit Usage for Greater Absorption

research on XanGo(R) Juice shows proprietary
whole fruit formula leads
to high xanthone absorption


 


LEHI, Utah, June 22
/PRNewswire/ -- XanGo,
LLC, recognized creator of the mangosteen
supplement category is
leading scientific exploration of the whole
mangosteen fruit (Garcinia
mangostana) through a tiered approach based
on safety, standardization
and efficacy. In a study published in the
June 2007 issue of the
Journal of Separation Science, researchers
established a credible
scientific method for testing and measuring
xanthones. Preliminary
results from a separate study conducted on
XanGo® Juice,
indicate usage of the whole mangosteen fruit
as a delivery vehicle
leads to high xanthone absorption.


"These two studies put into
context how to
measure xanthones and how to effectively
absorb these phytonutrients,"
said Edward Walker, Ph.D., of Weber State
University, lead researcher
on the published study. "A xanthone
measurement standard is in place.
Now claims concerning xanthone quantity and
efficacy can be evaluated
through credible research."

In the peer-reviewed method
for quantifying
xanthones from the mangosteen fruit, Walker
used the high performance
liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis to
create an analytical method
that accurately identifies xanthones from the
rind of the mangosteen
fruit.


According to Walker, an
80:20 acetone/water
mixture was used to extract the xanthones
from dried, ground whole
mangosteen fruit rind.


"A total of six xanthones
were purified by
preparative HPLC, utilizing the same solvent
system and UV detection as
for the analytical method," said Walker.
"Each compound has unique UV
absorption spectra that allows for easy
identification of the xanthone
found naturally in the mangosteen fruit."


Research lab ChromaDex
developed the
standards, and in accordance with AOAC
protocol, performed a single lab
validation to quantify xanthones through
comparison measurement of
detector response factors of individual
xanthones. Walker said the
research team chose the whole mangosteen
fruit rind as the starting
point because it holds the highest
concentration of xanthones in their
natural, unaltered state.


"Although researchers are in
the process of
identifying and measuring additional
xanthones, this study, published
in the Journal of Separation Science, ensures
a more consistent and
reliable marketing of mangosteen products to
consumers relative to
claims of xanthone content," said Walker.


Whole fruit drives
absorption


A pre-clinical, preliminary
28-day study of
XanGo Juice by Charles River Laboratories
Montreal identified the
bioavailability of xanthones to determine how
many xanthones are
actually absorbed and the pathway they
travel. Study director Susan
McPherson, MSc, senior research scientist at
Charles River
Laboratories, said preliminary research
findings demonstrate that the
proprietary whole fruit formula in XanGo
Juice leads to high levels of
xanthone absorption.


Ongoing research shows high
absorption of
xanthones in defined dosages, with elements
of the whole mangosteen
fruit as a delivery vehicle. Unnaturally
elevated levels of xanthone
consumption actually were shown to result in
decreased absorption
efficiency.


Preliminary results also
showed long-term
daily consumption of XanGo Juice to increase
levels of xanthones in the
blood.


"This is an issue of quality
over quantity,"
said Mike Pugh, manager, research and
development at XanGo. "These
preliminary findings add further context to
the published xanthone
measurement study. Ongoing research shows
artificially inflating or
manipulating a product with xanthone extracts
may not add any value.
The mangosteen presents more value in its
whole fruit form, as
presented in XanGo Juice. There are many
other phytochemicals found in
the fruit that have beneficial effects which
are lost in extraction or
jeopardized when the natural balance of the
fruit is manipulated."
